YESTERDAY
Since I really, really wanna watch it again, I forced my friend, a guy friend, to watch Hana Yori Dango Final with me. HAHAHA!
He said a looot while watching the movie. But one thing really striked me...
"Hahaha! Ang BAAAKLAAA!" *with matching insulting playful tone*
-pertaining to Matsumoto Jun
I smacked him once, or twice, as much as I can actually. I slapped him too. :D I could've hit him some more but he said he likes Gokusen and that alone is fine with me. :) Well I can say that he enjoyed the movie - he laughed hard at some scenes so there's no denying that. But he feels the movie's quite long. Which is true, but I barely noticed. :)
*Review of Hana Yori Dango Final next time :)*
And I was able watch Nodame Cantabile SP. I can't believe I haven't watched it yet. OMG.
The two-part SP is looove. :) They were in Paris now and there are lots of scenes that made me smile. I get all so giddy just remembering some scenes, haha! Chiaki was sooo kawaii and Nodame is one crazy girl, but I love her still. :)
Nodame Cantabile never failed to make me laugh - I laughed really hard in the Puri Gorota scene, in the restaurant scene (where Nodame was learning French), in their fight scene (when Chiaki came back to Paris and saw Kuroki-kun), all the GYABO and MUKYA scenes which were a lot. Hahaha! Chiaki and Nodame were really, really mad people. Their flat mates too were a good addition. And Milch, that pervert maestro, he didn't change one bit. :D
And I looove the music they used here. Chiaki's pieces in the conductor competition were nice. And I truly love Nodame's recital. :) I just wished that Rising Star orchestra performed for the last time, witch Chiaki conducting and all the members resurfacing. And I just wish there were more Mine-Kiyora scenes, I wanna see them together again.
Based on the hit comic book by Tomoko Ninomiya, this is a fun-filled quirky romantic story of two very opposite people.
Megumi Noda, or “Nodame” is a piano student at Momogaoka College of Music. An extremely talented pianist who wants to be a kindergarten teacher, she prefers playing by ear rather than reading the music score. She is messy and disorganized, takes baths several days apart and loves to eat, sometimes stealing her friend’s lunchbox when it is filled with delicacies.
Shinichi Chiaki, is Momogaoka’s top student. Born into a musical family, he is talented in piano and violin and has secret ambitions to become a conductor. An arrogant multi-lingual perfectionist who once lived abroad in the music capitals of the world as a young boy, he feels mired in Japan because of a childhood phobia.
They meet by accident. Nodame quickly falls in love, but it takes much longer for Chiaki to even begin to appreciate Nodame’s unusual qualities. Their relationship causes them both to develop and grow. Because of Nodame, Chiaki got the opportunity to lead a student orchestra and begins to have a broader appreciation of people's musical abilities. Because of Chiaki, Nodame faces her fears and enters a piano competition. Opportunities open up as both begin taking risks, stretching themselves far more than they ever thought possible.
