Hmm...I like to think I spend 'quality time' on the Internet, but what do I know? I also believe that I'm wasting my life having to adjust to daytime, so I sleep my existence away now.
Thanks for the link to "onesentence"! I'd never come across it before .. very interesting stuff. A really good personal challenge, too. *is thinking about single-sentence stories *
As for the Internet - it's like anything else in life. It has its uses (some of them very good). It's here to stay. Too much is poison; too little, deprivation. Eh. That "balance" thing again...
Ah....balance. One of these days I'll master that....
I love the one sentence place...and I guess it's not really wasting time if it leads me to attempt writing exercises such as that. There's other great links from the home page too - such as six word stories ( was it Hemingway or Twain who did 'For Sale. Baby Shoes. Never worn.'? Can't remember ) and the somewhat strange 'Reviews in Haiku'.
