Thanks to everyone for their good wishes, I'm sure they helped. I dried out the computer all weekend, and this afternoon, to my great joy it booted up just fine. *does happy dance* And oddly it now has a lovely odour, since the tea I spilled was strawberry and mango

It also looks like I got accepted to go to the conference in Colorado. It hasn't been finalised, but the organiser e mailed me, so everything's looking good. *is excited*

Yeah I know :) June 10-15th. I'll then be in NY, Boston, Washington DC and San Francisco. I've just got to figure out the dates!

Yeah let me know as soon as you have any dates - my brother will be visiting from Norway the last two weeks of June into July, so I'll be in Vegas for one of the weeks, but it'd be awesome to meet ya;)

Thanks. I got official conformation this morning, so I will book flights tomorrow. I've gotta sit down and think about dates and stuff, then we really need to organise Hawaii thing, if you still wanna/can go.

Congrats on both counts!! You got really lucky there with the laptop. No more liquids for you. Funny/quick story-every time we give my nephew orange soda at family gatherings, he always, always ends up spilling it. On accident of course. But just to make you feel better :)
