My Daughter Has a New Liver!

Last Friday, my daughter and I were making dinner when the phone rang. It was the CHOP liver transplant coordinator saying that they had a liver for my daughter, E, and we needed to get to the hospital. To say that I was taken by surprise would be an understatement. Wow, I'm so happy for you! You've been waiting years and everyone in the family was nervous about it. I'm very happy that your daughter's health is going to start getting better and better.

First a dog, now a liver. Do good things come in threes? If so, you'd better buy a lottery ticket! (or something equivalent)
