Hibari was moving about in their room, making sure to get things perfect and wonderful before his roommate returned - for no reason other than he liked things to be in their place, wherever he thought they should be. So their steak dinners complete with a mound of mashed potatoes and delicious seasoned vegetables were on plates, arranged and on the table with silverware and napkins. Also, wine glasses. They couldn't go without wine, he figured, after he'd asked Gokudera which kind he preferred. Pouring them each a glass, he wondered just when his roommate would step through the door and what sort of mood he'd be in; it was part of the reason he had one of his Chopin CDs playing. Surely it would help calm Gokudera if he did, indeed, need calming.

Corking and setting the wine aside, he pulled out his phone and flipped it open to check the time.

Hmm... any minu--ah.

"Hey. It's all done, come sit." He even pulled a chair out for him! How sweet.

Gokudera blinked at the whole setup before him. This was a lot more preparation than he'd expected Hibari - or anyone - to go through for him. He cleared his throat. Well. Hibari seemed to like things to be done right, sooo....

He decided not to think too hard about it. If Hibari wanted to make things all nice, that was his decision. The Chopin might be on the depressing side, but at least it wasn't going to prick at his attention like one of Bach's theory pieces disguised as his "Inventions." Good music, in its way, and certainly calming.

"Hey. Looks nice. Hope it wasn't too expensive?" He groped in his back pocket, making sure he had a few extra bucks in cash on the offchance.

"Not at all." He replied, going to turn the music down just a tad so it was just gentle sound in the background. Hibari came back over and took his own seat, starting to cut into his meat already. Medium rare, of course. He was a carnivore afterall.

"How was work?" Though he was pretty sure he knew the answer to that one already, given the expression on his face when his roommate walked in. He was always rather easy to read, and given the clientele he probably had... well. Couldn't blame him for being irritated at the end of the day. "...ah. The wine is the one you specified earlier when I asked. Let me know what you think."

"Rrrrgh," was his only reply as he went to the sink and sucked down a quick glass of water before sitting down. After a quick breath, he moved to the table and sunk down into the seat across from his roommate.

"M'sure it's fine." Right at this moment he was a little too frazzled to give a much better response than that.
