Chester, once again, is making a liar out of me :)

After three days of pallor, innability to move more than 2 feet without heaving hard for breath, he is better. He was playing in the yard all day today and his appetite is back! Ensure, iron and love. That is a nice recipe! Woohooo big dog!!

Bobby he is just an amazing Dog! His heart is much stronger than his 14 year old body seems to think :) When Chuck told me Goldens were different all those years ago I didn't really get it. I love dogs, get a dog, that's fine. They really ARE different than any other breed I've had and their Hearts are the biggest difference of all. Nickel is showing himself to be a big ball of love as well. I may be broke as hell but I got lots of love!

Here is a truth (as miss Mags seems to say)...A dog is a reflection of the owner and a happy dog or a sad dog is nothing more or less than a happy or sad family member. If you are a good person/owner/family member, your dog will be a wonderful pet/family member as well.
Our dogs are a reflection of who we are as owners/family. Your love of your dog says a lot for you. and him.
I wish I could do something to make him live long for you. Sounds like he is almost MORE than family.
I will give you all my love/respect/caring for him.
