I have to bathe cats on occasion and trust me it aint fun.

Since you have the dog dematted, might I suggest a dry oatmeal bath?

Oatmeal wont hurt the doggie, so if he decides to groom its ok.

Just get a big container of oatmeal (the kind you cook or "minute" oatmeal) rub it on the doggie and brush the doggie. He will smell brand new.

If it works on "stud tail" it will work on your doggie.
