so i was sitting here worrying, as usual, and i figured i'd be productive and share. have you ever had things that make you want to break down and cry one minute, but like the next day you could care less about? i thought i had everything figured out, but i dunno. am i even SUPPOSSED to have things figured out yet? how are we even suppossed to kno ( Read more... )

hey jenna! To tell you the truth, I was surprised that you wrote about trust, life, and most importantly how you felt about the world today cuz most people tend to forget about what being urself is (like me). I'm really glad that you wrote about how you felt and like Amy said this relates to so many people and i think everyone should consider and think about it. YOU GO GIRL! love ya hun!

Understanding "who am i?" is probobly one of the three major questions in our lives - the others being "where am i going" and "who's going with me?". The only way that you can have any definitive answer to the first question is to discover it on your own. As you said, everything influences us and interferes with any true self-identity. You have to realize what your priorities and ideals are, and how they reflect on you. While we can never completly block out the influence of our culture, we can look within ourselves and find our own answers to life's questions. Aslo, the answer will probobly always change. Day to day, 'who you are' will probobly shift. That's not nessacarily bad - we all learn, and adjust ourselves ( ... )
