Koga
Relationship: Father and daughter
He's the first mention for a reason, you know. To say Janine utterly idolizes him is sort of like saying the Titanic got a scratch in it one April morning: biggest fucking understatement of the century. He is the only person she feels truly comfortable around and the one that she has confessed all of her fears, secrets, and aspirations to. A daddy's girl, till the very end, but neither of them are complaining about it.

Lt. Surge
Relationship: Good colleagues
You wouldn't expect a relationship to be forged between such contrasting personalities, but Surge and Janine are on friendly relations with each other. Sure, he can be pretty loud and bawdy, but her experiences with him have taught her it's okay to ease up on her meticulously professional demeanor every once in a while. Their relationship is sort of like uncle/niece.

Relationship: ?????
Oh god, just kjsdfhkjghdfkjghdkf.
Janine isn't sure whether she likes him or not-- I mean, wow, he's smart, charming, an amazing battler, pretty damn hot and has an Arcanine for crying out loud, but then it's Green. What little contact they've had with one another has been nothing short of splendid, and this further complicates her view of him. She's pretty sure he's not interested in a girl like her but... time will only tell.

Falkner
Relationship: Friendly rivals/childhood friends(?)
A fellow Gym Leader, as well as someone who probably best understands her almost ridiculous devotion to parental figures, Falkner is a pretty cool guy eh gets easily trolled with whales and doesn't afraid of anything. He's a little on the stiff side but hey, not really a big deal. He can ignite some fierce competition in her, though, so she doesn't hang around with him as much as she probably should.

Relationship: Acquaintances, possibly good friends if the relationship is fostered well enough
Janine met May when the latter was going through Kanto to collect badges, but it wasn't until recently that the two, via the wonders of ~the internet~, started to get to know one another better. May's spunky and upbeat personality appeals to Janine immensely, and she certainly would like to get to know the Hoenn native better, if the chances arise. May seems to be fond of bringing up Green when the two girls talk, and Janine isn't sure how to interpret this.
