Pause, Rewind, Play (Glee 2x01 'Auditions')

While watching 2x01 Auditions, I realised that no matter how obnoxious or self-absorbed Rachel is, I will always, always love her. She is simply too adorable and batshit insane and for the life of me, I cannot find her anything less than fantastically compelling. At the end of the day, all I want to do is scoop her up in a hug, put her in my pocket and carry her around everywhere with me!

I have to admit though, what she did to Sunshine (who names their kid Sunshine, seriously!) was over the top sabotage, but come on - it was funny! I’m also curious to know how Rachel knows the directions to a crack house…

The bathroom scene was full of these vibes…It wasn’t just me, right? No, I was definitely feeling all vibe-y. And damn was Rachel smoking (the bangs are really growing on to me) or what? And when she gets up in Sunshine's space?!

Also, Sue Sylvester at the end of Telephone: classic! It was such a well delivered line by Jane Lynch!

Now let’s talk about Finn. By the end of the Back 9, I was all anti-Finn - something about his whiney ass was really grating me. But after watching this episode, I kind of see the charm. Sure, I was gagging a little during the “I’ll never break up with you” exchange, because sometimes it seems like the writers are forcing ‘Finchel’ down our throats and it really isn’t settling well with my breakfast.

But his Cheerios Tryouts was absolutely, embarrassingly hilarious! He was also really sweet when he tried to get Artie into the football team, I mean he’s really naïve and somewhat slow, but his intentions were honest! I sort of even feel bad that he got kicked out of the football team.

And to finish off with The Beiste? I think ‘Panther’ is the only person/animal alive who can reduce Sue Sylvester speechless with her non-sensical insults which makes her freaking epic:

“You’re all coffee and no omelette”
