Like I have mentioned in previous Posts, I have been to Los Angeles quite a few times in the last month and a half to help my Brother with his Court Case...
Every time I have gone I have gotten SO stressed out that I feel like I need therapy before I leave , and the messed up part is that I am only there for a few days at a time!!! Its not my ( Read more... )

Given all your options, and granted, there ISN'T a perfect option, what option is going to bother you the least years down the road? I mean, what option, if not taken, will possibly scar you the most for the rest of your life?

well my Brother knows my Family comes first... But my brother is family too. The life of this baby is FAR more important to me than a trip to california reguardless of the reason... But the "hard place" Has now turned to JELLO seeing as how my medical issues have been confirmed and am now on a mild form of Bed rest and new meds!!! so I cant go anyway... But thanks for the thoughts hun!

Well I don't know entirely whats going on and why your father is trying to take your brothers kid (on what grounds I mean), but I think that at this point you have done all you can and still keep yourself and your baby healthly. Good luck hun!

My Father is a dick, he did the same thing to my mother and it almost killed her. He filed False police reports and she was arrested at the Airport once for a B&E charge that NEVER happened... Esp since she didnt even kow where my dad lived LOL prick.... anyway my brother is an 11 year vetran of the Navy and was in Diego Garcia for 4 years when it was still "Not on the map" it was highly due to security reasons that no one knew where he was he does something with security and works with the Homeland security Dept inside the NAVY so we really dont knwo what he does. During this time my Fahter agreed to take his son and then return his son to him when he got back Stateside and when this didnt happen the Shit started rolling downhill really fast. My father says my brother is "Unfit" due to the Fact that he is in the NAVY... The NAVY JAG lawyers are like WTF so he has the US military behind him on this an dI really dont Forsee him loosing this case!! But thanks for your Advice... I need to call you, sorry I just havnt had the freaking ( ... )

Good luck to you all! How long until we know what you are having? Any names picked out yet? Sorry it took me awhile to get back to you, I spent the weekend at a family reunion holding tiny little twin girls that my cousin is adopting :) I miss you guys too!

Thank you so much Shooman, I honestly would have never thought of the Video tape Idea. They have been using My Brothers sons Video tapes as a testimony type thing as theey dont want him to endure the stress of an actual Trial. My Brothers attourney thought I really needed to be there but they are going to petition the Judge and see if htis is something I can do Due to my Medical issues. My OBGYN does not under any circumstances want me to Fly because we found out (Yesterday) that is is deffinately Pre-Eclampsya and a flight or any undue stress would have dire conciquesces on this baby... So Thanks again for your Suggueusttions.
I dont knwo if you knew this but I dont live in TX anymore though I do appreciate your offer to help me Scan documents and with the video idea... However my Dr has already sent the necessary documents to the Judge and the Attourney's and we are waiting till tuesday to see what he thinks of the Video idea!!!

I don't know if you can or if your brother would want to but maybe you can ask the judge to postpone the case till after the birth because of Drs orders?

OH no they wont postpone it again, this has been going on since Feb. My brother is being transferred to Maine the end of June. We are all going with him. This hearing needs to be done by then they cant postpone it at all.... not again.... My brother is being deployed overseas till December after the Transfer and he will not be able to go to court anymore after this month
