After seeing Alex Chiou's amazing painting on her LJ, I thought about paints and water colors and things.

I always thought water colors looked like this:

Oh Bernice, you're such an amazing artist. <3 You've now inspired me to go and bring out my 234598 art supplies and see what I can do.

Also, watercolors can come in tubes or cakes-it really just depends on which one you prefer. Generally speaking, the chalkier watercolors are the cheap things you find in like, Walgreens, while you'd find higher quality cakes in specialty art supply stores.
