I saw Lois Lowry's lecture this evening at the Tennessee Theatre and it was, in a word, phenomenal. She's a fantastic and eloquent speaker and her manner is just warm enough to draw you in to her, but not so personal as to eventually distance you from her. I saw my sixth grade English teacher there. I'm now about a head and a half taller than she
