I seem to be oddly fortunate when it comes to being exposed to these... experiments. I wonder what it is that causes one person to be affected but another not...?

Yup. Me, my sister, my best friend Yamato, his little brother Takeru, and our other friend Koushiro. Takeru's the only one affected.
