feeling guilty?

Maybe Guilty isn't the right word but I feel a twinge of guilty over taking so much time off work this year to travel and self-satisfaction. I know I pick up a lot of extra days including holidays and weekends but I still have that feeling that I'm taking advantage of a good thing. Goodness, don't feel guilty for not having negative things to post. It's a good thing that your life has gone rather smoothly and that all is well.

It's also nice to know that someone out there is happy and has it good! :)

No guilt. You're doing awesome, and that IS awesome - having an exciting life is what life is all -about-, you're just doing it right.

Trust me I understand that guilt, after my friend died I felt like shit about having an awesome life without her, but ultimately that's what she wanted for me. So. In honor of my dead friend I forbid you from feeling guilty for being awesome.

I agree with the others. I understand your feelings because when Plum St. was going well and I had just gotten my house, I felt kinda at odds with so many friends who were struggling either with health, finances or relationships. But life is an ebb and flow and we can't forbid ourselves from enjoying and celebrating the good things in our lives simply because it's not happening at the same time as others. If that were the case, we'd all be miserable all the time ;)
