Q107 Super Set

OK, when I finally get from High Street to the shuttle on Carleton and then finally to the Trico lot on Goodell, for the drive home, I just want some hard driving r'n'r. That is indeed a great set. David Bowie is such a strange musician/performer/person. I have a copy of his greatest hits cd if you're interested.

Thing is, Bowie and glam rock has never really been my thing (as maybe you can tell). But I have a lot of respect for him, and what's going on behind that ridiculous disco pseudo beat is amazing...

Funny you should mention this...I get in my car with the snow coming down in sheets, wind blowing, dreading a one-hour journey to travel 12 miles of stop and go, and those wonderful people at Columbia U's WKCR-FM played an uninterrupted one-hour set of the most dramatic classical music you ever heard. I never got the composer's name either because it was still going on when I pulled up in front of my apartment. It was almost like being inside a Francis Ford Coppola movie.
