One great scene in Walk the Line was where a very skeptical Sam Phillips decides to audition one John R. Cash (until Phillips decides to change his name to Johnny). Johnny and his early Tennessee Three play a very tentative audition of old gospel. Great stuff, but as Sam points out, it's been done for years and I can't sell it. Cash fortunately
