If this is magical in nature, it's something I've never encountered before. I'm doing a sweep of the ship, but I haven't been detecting any significant outside energy sources. Is it too much to ask for a normal crisis, once in awhile?

...Some have been saying that it's due to ghost. Is that possibility something you'd be able to verify?

By the way, Doctor John has managed to secure his awry medical equipment into the operating room. He's left it available for examination, so you're at liberty to look it over to see if you can detect anything that may lead us to the specific source of our problem.

[It's . . . kinda hard to hear him over the sounds of electrical crackling, gears grinding, metal screeching . . . and a soft chorus of high-pitched voices cooing "Kuri! Kuri!!" Yami himself sounds like he's exhausted and in pain, but determined to deal with the threat]

In a word . . . we've got a major poltergeist haunting on our hands. There might be magic involved, but I've not really sensed any. However, I do sense a powerful supernatural presence and have even gotten a few glimpses of what I believe to be the source of our issues. Unfortunately, I've failed to isoloate it to the engine room. Still, if I can determine its weaknesses, I might still be able to overcome it.

You can determine the location of...the supernatural presence causing this? And what have you been doing to try determining its weaknesses?

No one particular location. The thing's energies seem to be spread around the engine room. And threading out throughout the whole ship, from what I'm hearing over the network. But I can say that the strongest emanations seem to be centered in the Claudia drive, with things radiating out from there.

Well . . . [grunt of frustration] . . . I can tell you what it's not affected by, which seems to be most of my spells and abilities. I'm . . . I'm going to need some help down here, I think. I've just posted a report of my findings so far...

I just saw. I need to take care of a few things, but I'll be there as soon as I can.

However, Yami, please don't push yourself. Head to the infirmary. I doubt the situation will get any worse if you leave. But if you insist on staying to fight against the...the specter, I want you to try something.

Speak to it. Ask it to stop. Ask what it wants.
