The year that the Hunt won

For various reasons, this year's hunt was not the best year my team's had. A few things were bad luck, but I think the big issue were endemic to this Hunt overall. Although the team whose name was the full text of Atlas Shrugged found the coin, I think it's equally fair to say this was the year that the Hunt won.

In fairness, with regard to the Cracked article, one of the things about not intending to win is that we don't have much incentive to solve puzzles that we're not interested in. So if nobody actually wanted to write a Cracked article, it's not that surprising that nobody did.

At one point I speculated that the count down timer on the hunt website might have been an elaborate ruse, and would keep resetting itself over and over again until we discovered the *real* puzzle embedded in the page. That would have been deliciously evil....
