Gaaah I never post here anymore. I don't have much mental energy outside of work, and I don't know how to fix that. Most of my video game-playing time has gone to various PopCap titles. I tried playing NHL 12, and at first it was OK, but it seems I can only handle single player on the casual setting. Online I'm just playing one position and I always feel like I'm a step behind, and I don't understand HUT at all so I think I'll leave that alone. Maybe I should try playing goal online, I have a Be a Pro in that position and I seem to be doing alright there. Also, I can appreciate that you can create a female player (this is the first year they've done that, right?), but with only two heads to choose from and no way to modify them beyond eye color, it felt like such a last-minute add that I almost wondered why they even bothered to put it in this year. I'd have been fine with waiting until next year if that meant a more complete set of heads/customization options. Granted, this is my first NHL title so I don't really know how much the various features progressed over the years.
