When Nathan calls Peter when the other abilities begin to manifest, freaking him out, PETER DOESN'T ANSWER HIS CALLS OR RETURN THEM. He just lets it go to voicemail and walks away.
I think Peter did that out of spite. I'm sure he's still a little angry about the whole FUGITIVES thing. Also, I remember in "A Clear and Present Danger" Nathan said, "And you wonder why I haven't been returning your calls..." I'm sure Peter hasn't forgotten about that. haha.
They act so couple-like sometimes, I almost forget they're brothers. LOL.
I know what you mean about feedback. I used to be thrilled if I got one email when I posted a story. Now, I get depressed if I don't get lots of comments. I posted something the other day and only got three comments. I was devastated.

I noticed that immediately when I watched that episode and have never forgotten. It really shows Peter's issues with his brother without stating it. Peter needs to deal with his own problems and Nathan can just fuck off. What has he done that lets him deserve Peter's consideration, anyway? Of course, it's different when he's faced with Nathan instead of just hearing his voice...but not that different (until things get completely out of hand post-Shadowboxing

I love how Nathan, in response to Peter not returning his calls, goes to see Peter at work and confronts him like some neglected girlfriend. Oh, how the tables have turned.
I fancy myself a decent writer, but sometimes I wonder because my stories don't get much feedback. I always get jealous of the writers who get so many reviews for everything they write. Sigh. Sometimes I think maybe people don't read my stories because I don't have a big reputation as a writer.Well, I feel you there (even though, I've been told, I do - even though it doesn't necessarily feel that way). Comparatively, I don't get that much feedback; my stories are long and chewy and probably go way past people's comfort zones. But I don't worry about it; I'm just happy for the feedback that I DO get. Quality, not quantity - you dig? :) If it means anything, I think you're a good writer (if I don't seem to be responding to fic anymore, it's because I'm not reading it much anymore - I haven't got time! I still love it, I still long for it, but... the days are short

Miss it too. And I miss reading Petrellicest. But it still hurts so much. I just manage to read Adrian-Milo stories though they are starting to make me sad too.
Facebook applications always make my notebook break down. I don't know when or why it happens but Facebook or even MySpace are too much for my limited technical skills. I'm glad that LJ works usually. ;)
I'm sorry that the recent unpleasantness has made it too sad even to enjoy fanfic. :( Yeah, way to go, Kring; way to give the fans "what they want". How's that working out?
*sigh*
I wish you a more powerful computer in the future.

OH SO TRUE.
I love how in your icon, Adrian's hat is, uh, much bigger and longer than Milo's.... :D

I think we all got spoiled. :) TIme to get back to writing stuff for ourselves, and the feedback is just gravy.
