Oh it is SUCH a treat-episode for slashers of all stripes. An excellent, wonderful episode. And yeah, need screencap of the closeup of Milo's eyes NOW!
OH YES. YES YES YES. This is the Heroes I've been missing!! *cries in joy*
I was absolutely RIVETED through the ENTIRE episode. And I must say that trapping Sylar and Peter alone and together "for years" was BRILLIANT. I laughed and snorted at so many lines... And now they're out again. To share in their real-but-not-real closeness.
I can't help but wonder though if Peter is going to just mind control Mr. Multiplicity and have the whole "fight" not even happen >.> Or if he'll absorb Sylar's power and have his multi-powers back? Ah, hopes and dreams.
But OH~ why can't Heroes be like this all the time? *dies happy*
I wish that it could be like this all the time, too.
Urgh. I might have to backtrack on my previous stance that I just want the show to be cancelled at this point so I don't have to go through the pain of it being ripped on all the time... but seriously, folks, KILL SYLAR. It's gotta happen. It's really, really gotta. I don't care if he's a good guy now (which I don't believe for a second); he's really done too much. If he's really a good guy he has still been responsible for so many murders. It's just not right.
And I loved the flashbacks! Those were great! Unlike the last time they tried to recapture the magic of "Company Man", this really felt like it stood on its own and wasn't just a desperate callback. Plus I love Past Noah. I just wish this episode had been three times as long!
I'm glad you read 'em! I was starting to have my doubts that they even served a purpose besides giving me a place to put all my random funny and allusions that hit me in the face all the time watching the show. But I love to share. I really, really do.
I think I'll cross-post this one so I can promote it (because since I'm myself on twitter, I can't very well post a link to this review when folks In The Know might then see the filthy filthy slash - and also because my job now monitors our twitter posts, so that especially cannot happen. Fortunately I've got enough internet presence with enough identities that I think I can put this elsewhere with no ties back to here.)
I dunno - I might have been hearing what I wanted to hear at that point. Don't destroy my dreams! :D
Yeah... great episode. Wonderful in all ways. Just wonderful. I rewatched last week's immediately beforehand and the show is just better when you can watch multiple episodes in a row, and rewatch the episodes... it's just better. Unfortunately that's not the way most people watch TV, and ... ugh, I'm sick of chasing my tail on this. I'm just gonna appreciate what we have.

And: "then Noah says THE most slashy phrase ever uttered on this show: "Help me get these rocks off!""
Doesn't he say 'ropes'? Since he was tied up? XD Or did I hear it wrong?

And I agree. Watching a marathon of Heroes with no commercials is the best way to go. Thank goodness for the internet. ;3
