Why do some people wear Winter clothes with Thongs or Sandals?

Cos their legs are cold, but if they put shoes on too, they'd be too hot.

you are one of the few people i would believe would do that but the general population doesn't really over heat like you.

This was prompted because i saw a girl at the station all rugged up in winter clothes scarf and all and when i glanced at her feet she was wearing thongs it just seemed silly to me why wear so many clothes and then let your feet get cold.

I wear jeans and no shoes a lot :)

Ok, "all rugged up" is a bit strange with cold toes. But I look at people in a heavy coat and skirt the same, so.... :)

you have a point with the skirt but there are times like today where i am wearing a skirt with boots and a heavy jacket and warm stockings so to me that makes sense but there are others that just wear skirts with heavy jackets and no stocking now they to me fall into the same "huh?" categeory as winter clothes and thongs

Fashion? There is no length people will not go to to look stupid. There was a guy (looked to be in his 40's) on the tram this morning in t-shirt, shorts and crocs (those stupid clown shoes) with socks!

Urgh i hate Crocs they have to be the ugliest shoes ever made. I actually saw one woman wearing two different coloured ones the other day to me it made her look silly but then again you could be right it is a fashion thing one that i am quite happy not to understand
