Dude, Hong Kong is actually quite cheap! Definitely stop off over there on the way. Apparently a new airline has opened up that has cheap flights from Hong Kong to London and New York from HKD$1000 one way, which ends up being about AUS$150. !!! If we go there, we so have to go to a day spa! Lolz.
We should definitely pop into a travel agent sometime soon. I've been trying things out on the STA Travel Planner. Zomggggggg.
Oh, cool! Hong Kong in February = Chinese New Year. Ooo!
I wasted too much Uni internet credit on that planner! It's cool, but it is limited to where you can travel. The actual agents allow you to go pretty much in any direction or order.
ie: Adelaide - Hong Kong - New York - Washington - Canada (Montreal / Toronto / Victoria?) - Asian city - Adelaide.
Let's go see Lisa at STA when we go back to uni - Aaron and I are in with her, man!
And I was looking at a few things on the net, it's pretty cheap to travel by train/bus between Washington/New York/Boston, and it's generally only a few hours to get there. Let's do it!
If it's true I'm killing JKR for writing such a crappy fan fiction ending. Even if it is true, there's still the whole book to get through first I suppose.
Although the security surrounding the book has been incredibly tight. Apparently they're suing someone though", but this doesn't say whether it's real or not. Don't read the comments in that by the way, there might be something in there.
People on there are saying that the photos of the book are real, but the PDF with the text is fan fiction ie. everything I told you is fake. I'm going to believe this because what I read sounded like fan fiction. Plus it's still copyright infringement to make something look like the book, so hopefully that's why they're suing them.
This long answer just shows my desperation to believe it's fake. Which it totally is.
Since you are a fellow photogeek type this may interest you...

It is a sort of combined travel/photosharing site I have been vaguely and distantly involved in setting up. It is now semi-public and we 'helpers' have been asked to tell everyone we know who owns a camera about it.
