I'm not sure what was the right thing to do in this situation; bin Laden was an evil little nutcase, but I'm of the mind that no one deserves to have their right to live decided by someone else, so having him killed does not necessarily sit too well with me...but on the other hand, taking him prisoner probably would have made the threat of an attack worse, and probably wouldn't have done much to help in the end anyway.
All I know is that I'm going to remember fondly the times way back in 2001 when my dad and I threw darts at a TIMES magazine with his face on it.
I honestly don't know what the "right" thing to do in this situation to do is, either. I...think it's good that he's dead and he won't be able to harm anyone, but the fact is that people are celebrating his death, and that makes me uncomfortable. To celebrate the death of another is wrong to me. What's done is done, though, and we can only see how things go from here.
