Especially love this passage. This is a refreshing take on Chloe's reaction to the news. As much as Chloe had grown to known Ollie, as much as she loved him, and as much as she knew that her leaving would affect him, their new relationship still left room for doubt. With just a few words, you established that to Chloe, Ollie's revelation to the world -- irrevocably changing his life, running afoul of everything they and other heroes worked for and endangering his life and their mission -- was a genuine declaration of love that she was finally accepting.
