My parents are totally against my plans for the future, and my friends trying to dissuade me. People wonder why i suddenly changed my plans and became so centered on a future career that no one saw coming. Everyone expected me to become an artist or an architect, i felt bad telling them that even though i'm good at it, i find it boring

Well... as long as it makes you feel happy, then go for it. The same goes for anything life throws at you.

Even if they don't agree with your decisions, they should at least support you about it.
