IKNOWRIGHT?

I used to watch old school SNL, and I thought she was cutesy and didn't really mind her. But yeah, she's an awful human being =__=;; I'm so tired of people picking and choosing what to believe in from a book that was written thousands of years ago. I think civilization has progressed a bit since then, don't you? It just sucks because religion, at it's core, is a really positive powerful thing, until people use it as a backwards reason to justify their hate. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth where religion is concerned. It is ignorant to pretend that gay relationships as teenagers do not happen or are not normal; what are you saying to the thousands of teenagers who are struggling and bullied because of their sexual preference? To basically ostracize and condemn them is just cruel and thoughtless, and it accomplishes nothing.

It just saddens me that people like this still exist in the world =( And there are LOTS of people like her....

Wow :| That's... awful. None of her arguments made sense/had anything to do with what they asked though, so hopefully people get that she's just an idiot.

Yeah I know @__@;; I love the fact that she threw in that she had 'gay friends' in the end there to try to justify her crazy rant. Sometimes it's just better if people like this just come off as crazy so everyone knows better than to take them seriously =/ We're taking steps in the right direction, but it's crazies like this that are holding us back.

I am very curious what makes her an expert on any of this.

She's not an expert, she's a celebrity....though I use that term very lightly. It's partially the news channel's fault for giving her the time of day, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating or irritating that this woman is spewing this stuff in public forums. =/

WTF! this lady is nuts she doesn't even know what the hell she is talking about I am sure she never fallowed the bible to the T but she sure does like to use it to her advantage.
I also hate when people are like this it pisses me off this is a new world and people should be free to chose there own lives the way they want what ever happen to being open minded they are all somebody's brother, sister, daughter ,and son we are all the same so why treat anyone different I never ever understood why people can be so hateful to others?

It's true. I honestly...like....HONESTLY don't understand what christian's problems are with gays. Are they really hurting anyone? If gay people are allowed to marry, is it really going to effect them personally? I don't understand where their dislike and hate stems from. The bible says a lot of things are sins, like eating fish on certain days, adultery, disobeying your parents, etc...things even christian's seem to be guilty of sometimes. The bible says women are to 'obey' their husbands like they're some kind of property, and we've risen above that misogynistic way of thinking...I don't see how this is any different?
