...And yeah, that was an insanely long walk to Deracot, wasn't it? At least it's a bit shorter now! :D
Right now I'm frantically trying to finish a quick revision of the rough draft of story #6 of my in-progress series so I can update my FF.net author page (I'd been hoping to have it done before Chicago, but that, unfortunately, didn't happen), and then I'll post a real update on my LJ. Honest!
And I'm returning the group hug! (((((hugs))))) I met so many amazing people through the Stargate fandom, and it's always such a blast to see you guys again. :) It's actually really weird to not have signed up for next year's convention, but my wallet is happy not to have spent that $379 last weekend!
But we will have to get together sometime next year -- we just have to wait and see if anyone we really want to see signs on for the convention to determine whether or not we make the get-together that weekend or another weekend. :)
And, just for the heck of it... (((((even more hugs)))))
LOL! Yeah, I was going through my list of icons and was like, "Hmmm..." And I couldn't resist. :)
And yes, it does feel strange that we didn't sign up for the convention, that after all this time someone else will be sitting in *my* B18 next year... Still, the money was a big factor, and we don't actually need Stargate cons to hang out, right? Right.
But yes, I will be nudging you. Because one day in the near future I would like to hold a glossy-covered, author signed novel titled Frozen Flame in my hands. Oh...and I get a small part in the movie as well. Just so you know. *vbg*
:;hiding from the zombie horde:: It was soo cool to meet you too! It would be nice to see Chicago without a convention. There's a lot more than I thought there would be.
Although if you're still up for conventions do you want to try and tackle Dragon Con next year? Hee.
