MegaCon report and various other events
I have to say I really had a great time at MegaCon. It was the first time I've ever been and it probably won't be my last. ^.^
Ryuu~kun and I had a little fight, so he did not come with me Saturday. That made me quite sad because I was really looking forward to going to this with him. I almost didn't want to go at all, but after getting my friend, Leslie to already ask her parents to come...I couldn't disappoint her. Got there probably a little bit after 9:30, got our passes, and met up with my Bebop group. We hung with them for a bit at a table, then it was off to the dealer room.
Not even two minutes getting in there, I'm already being stopped for pics. Everyone just wanted a pic of the adorable Ed and her pal Ein. ^.^ After getting some new dvds and other shit, we returned to my friends. I then helped Janet with her costume after some rude person attacked her in the Dealer room. Poor Janet. Leslie and I then went back in the dealer room with Janet as her bodyguards...bad idea, I ended up buying more shit! >.< LoL! Dealer rooms are evil!!! After that we got our pics taken by Mab...little disappointed cause there isn't that many, but oh well. I got to see my amv being shown in the contest! OMG, I almost cried. Then we walked all the way back to the car, I changed into my Yu-Gi-Oh costume, and then it was back to convention center to hang with my Yu-Gi-Oh buds now. Actually we ended up waiting quite a while to hang with them cause the costume contest took so long to start...so after we saw Sunny and Juilan do their skit we tried our best to get to Mai and Seto. Took a couple pics and then it was off to PizzaHut for some REAL food. Went back to duel for a little bit then Les and I went home.
Sunday...that was fun. Got dressed into my KyoCat costume and headed over to meet up with the Chu Cru for Iron Cosplay. Got my shirt and found out was going to be a cheerleader. LoL! Wish I had known a head of time cause I was pretty embarrassed doing that. Oh well, it was really fun. We tried our best to cheer Belle on, but the stupid announcers would interrupt us and make rude comments about our team the whole time. That thing didn't really seem fair at all. They didn't win, but I think their costume was a lot better than what Joe put together. We then took all the shit back to Belle's car and then me and Samantha headed to the dealer room. After running around there a bit, we decided to go out to eat at Denny's and then it was time to head home.
Really had a great time with everyone this weekend. Can't wait to do it again sometime! Well guess it's off to bed for me.
