A lot of my more off than on interactions here is that a few years back I got totally sucked into WOW. Now, with 3 level 80's, two of which are raiding ICC, and one trying to get geared up, and then the discovery of Facebook games, I've just totally neglected this blog. It's good to see you here. I spend less time here than I have before.

I understand the economy. I'm on the 7th month of a 3 month contract. I was hoping to get on as a regular employee, but at least, they haven't told me to quit coming in.

yeah you have to take it when you can get it. the security of full time is nice, but at least you are still there.

I'm not sure if there is any more security in being a regular employee. But if they want me to believe in them and work hard, it would be nice if they believed in me and made me part of the company.

I went on a wonderful hike. Beautiful views of the mountains and wild flowers. (I have some pictures in fourseasons and others in my journal.) It was a 2500' climb in 2.5 miles. But, it was worth it.

I use LJ for anything real I want to post about, too many of my family have FB accounts. I try to not add them but sometimes it just creates more drama than it is worth so I post about real stuff on here.

Good to hear from you hon. I too have been rather quiet...Facebook and it's games kind of took my interest for a bit when my Daddy died. But I find LJ a safer place to vent....Glad you are back! ((HUGS))

yeah FB is good for games but not for anything too serious. i can't comprehend twitter, and never liked Myspace, so LJ it is. sorry about your dad.
