When Warhammer 40k meets Jerry Falwell
I couldn't help it. i saw too much of the same hate spewing retoric from jerry falwell as i did in a fictional game. At least the game doesn't offend me. The bolded text is the Emperors interpritation and the non bolded is a little speech on jerry Falwell's site.
Without a doubt the most important message of all times is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no other name on Earth, beneath the Earth or in the Heavens above by which a person can be saved except through the name of Jesus.
The most important lesson one must know is to fear the Emperor of all humanity, for only he stands at the eye of terror before the ravaging menace of Chaos. You can not escape his all powerful glory, for he sees all your failings and shortcomings.
Man was originally created by God as a perfect being. God gave man all good things at creation including a free will to make his own decisions. In one instance of Satanic temptation, man chose to disbelieve what God had commanded him thus disobeying God and falling from his sinless state of perfection. The Bible says, Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12). Every man, woman and child has sinned. There is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10. That day Satan was cursed by God for deceiving Adam and Eve: And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel (Genesis 3:14, 15). Verse 15 is the first verse to contain a prophecy of the coming Redeemer.
The most beneficent God-Emperor of Mankind brought forth the creation of a super warrior race of soldiers known as Man. Through corruption and the 4 terror lord of Chaos had corrupted Horus and his heresy weighed on the Emperor. So plagued mankind, the madness of chaos, that even the mere mention of affliction is enough to cleanse an entire planet of taint by wiping all manner of creature, plant, bacteria and virus from the surface of the world. The most holy Codex Astartes teaches us that all traitors must die for the hours heresy must never again be brought to the worlds of Man. Traitors eyes and ears must be cut off, their mouths stapled shut, and burned at a stake to cleanse their souls. For the Emperor shall rise from his golden thrown once more and bring havoc to his enemies and destruction to all who oppose his infinite wisdom.
It is my prayer that you have already made the most important decision to accept Christ into your own life. There is only one way of salvation and it is through Jesus Christ.
There is only one Emperor and you shall know his name or you shall know only the finality of a smoking gun barrel and the coldness of dirt
Becoming a Christian is an act of faith. Jesus Christ willingly died for your sins and calls upon you to trust him as your personal Savior.
The Emperor holds the machinations of torment and dire evil at bay, for Chaos will rip apart every shred of humanity you have left. And it is for this, that you have no choice but to follow the Emperor freely or be mind wiped to be free of the dangers of heresy and chaos for they breed in non controlled thoughts. This is the only way to see His vision of greatness and benevolence.
Knowing Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the most exciting experience of life. Yet millions of people live today as if there were no God at all. They live as though the death and resurrection of Christ made no difference for them. He does not matter to them because they have never come to know Him as their personal Savior.
To know the Emperor is to know salvation but beware the mind. Thought begets hate, hate begets pain, pain begets war, war begets heresy.... our greatest enemy is thought. Any sane worshipper knows it is better to die for the Emperor then to live for one’s self, but there are many who still fight the Emperor’s peaceful will. To all the soulless heathens and damned infidels, we shall track, hunt and pursue and never tire in our complete genocidal wash of all that oppose the Emperor for we praise His name, for in our resolve we only reflect His purpose of will.
One does not become a Christian by merely attending church or religious services. Sitting in church will not make you a Christian any more than sitting in your garage will make you an automobile
You do not just gain the favor of the Emperor. You are not free, whose liberty is won by the rigor of other, more righteous souls. You are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honorable Emperor dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood.
To become a true Christian believer, you must come to know Jesus Christ. This involves a personal encounter with Christ. Such an encounter may happen anywhere: at a church altar, in your car, or at home. The place is incidental. The personal experience with Christ is what really matters. Jesus said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). I want to introduce you to this abundant life
A man’s youth is spent undergoing conditioning to close his mind to all else save for the grace of His word. And if such an undeserving waste of genetic material was ever to see or receive a message from the Emperor, first you shall be tortured by the inquisitors, your mind then judged weather or not it is stable enough to resist chaos, and finally to see if a mind wipe is in order based on your loyalty to the emperor. The emperor will guide humanity to the darkest reaches of hell, the deepest pits of despair and agony, and to the breaking limits of your mind body and soul just to build a strength for the good of humanity.
We need forgiveness. The Bible clearly teaches that we are all sinners by nature and by choice. Sin is the transgression of God's law. To sin is to voluntarily disobey God's law. The Scripture says, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)
Excuses are the refuge for the weak, give no mercy and expect none from your enemies nor your neighbors, for one day they may fall to chaos and be your sworn enemy. Fail not the Emperor
Sin is a problem with which we all must deal because its consequences are so devastating. The Scripture says, For the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Spiritual death involves total separation from God for all eternity. It is the greatest of all the consequences of sin.
Beware the alien, the mutant, the heretic. Heresy is our greatest threat, for it threatens to rip us apart from the inside. Blessed is the mind that is to small for doubt. To be removed from the Emperor’s grace is to be tortured endlessly in the void of oblivion.
We are all guilty of sin. The degree or intensity of our sins may vary, but we are all guilty of sinning. The Bible reminds us, If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us (1 John 1:8). The prophet Isaiah illustrated it this way: All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way (Isaiah 53:6).
There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt for all have wronged the Emperor in a way, the proof is in that our enemies still draw breath. Only through the destruction of our enemies do we earn our salvation. We must venerate the immortal Emperor drive from our spirits all hope, for hope is the first step on the road to disappointment as well as the beginning of unhappiness.
Doing the best we can or trying to "balance the books" is not sufficient to remove even one of our sins. That is why the payment for sin always involved a blood sacrifice. In the Old Testament, animals were sacrificed for sin. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, became the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of mankind
A mind without purpose will wander in dark places especially if you think you can serve Him in any other way then that dictated to you by the Inquisitors. Though faith without deeds is worthless, disobedience is dangerous and spreads damnation, Do only what you are told and nothing else.
Sin is an offense against a holy God. It separates us from God and keeps us from experiencing all that God has for us in life. Since we cannot save ourselves, nor remove the fact of our sin, we need to be forgiven.
Purge the unclean and all offenses to the Emperor, pray for the narrow minded focus to crush the Emperor’s enemies and not distract you from His will. Just remember success is measured in blood; yours or your enemy´s. To question is to doubt for doubt is weakness and the wise will always be afraid, These are the tenants upon which salvation is attained.
Salvation is a free gift of God made possible by His grace to undeserving sinners. It is not a reward for our good deeds. Nor is it something we must spend a lifetime trying to earn. It is a gift that we must receive by simple faith.
Serve the Emperor today for tomorrow you may be dead. You must give all your blood and heart in service to the Emperor, anything less would be heresy.
Spiritual rebirth occurs when God is born in us and unites His Spirit with our spirit. The marvelous truth of Scripture is that God lives within your soul. When you receive Jesus Christ, He comes to live within you forever (John 14:20).
It is better for a man to be afraid than happy for happiness is a delusion of the weak, true happiness stems only from duty. Hated is the Emperor’s greatest gift to humanity as it keeps us vigilant against our enemies and those not of our faith.
Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for my sins on the cross, and rose again the third day. I repent of my sins. By faith I receive the Lord Jesus as my Savior. You promised to save me, and I believe You, because You are God and cannot lie. I believe right now that the Lord Jesus is my personal Savior, and that all my sins are forgiven through His precious blood. I thank You, dear Lord, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
The blood of martyrs is the seed of the Imperium promise all you have to the Emperor for while the enemies of the Emperor still draw breath there can be no peace. War is a beautiful thing to gaze upon as it is the instrumentation of cleansing the enemies of the Emperor. The Emperor is my shield and protector, his word is law and no lie can be gleaned from his lips. To have my soul be consumed psychically and forever erased from existence is my supplication to the Emperor, for if he shatters and dissipates my soul and it be forever lost then I shall be free of my prison.
