Seriously though, I was right there with you when the plane was descending into Vancouver--absolutely amazing (and my heart was seriously beating out the rhythym of Metallica in anticipation of our days ahead.)
If you're allowed to post photos, I'll certainly send them to you if you want. Other fans might like to see the city of Vancouver from the plane...or more likely the impala (with our without you--your preference!)

LOL, I don't know, I have a steel-trap memory sometimes, although I was definitely looking at a map of the US and Vancouver to recall some of the places we'd flown over/visited. And even so I think I got one thing wrong, I think it was Boundary Bay that we FLEW OVER on the descent into the city, not English Bay or Burrard Inlet though they were both visible. But everything else is right, I'm pretty sure.
Glad you enjoyed and glad that it brought back awesome memories, hopefully the next two installments will do the same! :-D

Oh man, I wish you could've gotten an aerial view of the city, it was really an incredible sight...we were very lucky that we got to fly out in the afternoon! Shutter got some good pics unlike me, though, and once I'm done posting all of my con account, I'll post some of them in a seperate picspam blog, even though I think you may have already seen them on Plurk...
Well, here's hoping that next time (wink, wink) you get to see it... ;-)
*crosses fingers for a next time for all of us*

I know, I couldn't believe it! Like I said, my skeptical side was screaming no way, but then we were there and it was real! Very awesome. I'll be looking for that garage when ep 5 rolls around!

How exciting to see them shooting...even if you only got a quick glimpse of the boys, you got to see Metallicar!!!!!
He told us that the boys had been really shaken up by that, even to the point where Jared went through a period of having trouble falling asleep at night because of it AWWWWW!!!! Poor Puppy!! At least he's got Jen there to comfort him!
I can't wait for the next post & to see some pics!

Yes, it was very exciting to see them shooting, even, like you said, with just that quick glimpse...and seeing Metallicar was VERY much awesome!!! :-D
I know, if that story is indeed true, then boy would I personally love to just smack those crazy (and not in a good way) girls for taking advantage of the boys' kindness like that and especially for shaking poor Jared up that much, when you know he already probably got very little sleep as it was back then (and is still of course the case) due to their insane shooting schedules! But yes, I'm sure Jensen was there for him every step of the way, just like a big brother! *smishes them*
I've decided I'm gonna do the picspam (with Shutter's borrowed pics! LOL) seperate from the con blogs, but the next part of the con blog will be up within the hour! :-)

It was so much fun reading your blog and re-living those memories! We had a great time driving out to that location didn't we? It was a fun drive! And I still have trouble believing that we were actually on the set! We saw the Impala! SQUEE!! That was an awesome night and one I hope I never forget.

And I know, it's funny, as much as I remember the time we spent at the set, I'll also probably (hopefully) never forget the drive down and back...that was hilarious! LOL. Most entertained I've ever been in a car! :-D
