Not that I have kids, but I raised my little brother, and I gotta say, I feel for you with the whole 'getting him/her to school on time' thing. My Dad was in California for a month and Mom was long gone by then, and it was his first day at the Jr. High. I was in my last year by then, thank god.
And forget getting him to bed. Thirteen and a right pain in the ass.
Anyway, hope you get better soon and back to work, I gotta go!
