So we saw Star Trek Into Darkness. I tend to see only about one movie in theaters every year and this was a good one to fit the role (Though presumably we'll see the Hobbit Part 2 this winter.) I enjoyed the movie, the trick is that you just have to think of it being Star Trek-flavored Space Adventure Show instead of honest Star Trek. I found the

Oh, I really like that. The soft turquoise and the sense of an endless, peaceful ocean expanse, with light streaming in from above - that's really nice.
