Life sucks around the DeGeer household right now. I've been out of a job for a month come Tuesday, so Faire is not going to happen--at least the way we're used to doing it. Probably can afford only one day this year if things keep the same. I've got 60+ resumes and applications out right now, so we'll see what happens. I try to put in about two- ( Read more... )

Thanks darlin. I haven't tried the temp agencies yet, but that's not a bad way to go when you're in the pinch we are. Usually, that's a good thing (about being pinched) but this kind of pinching blows.

I'm so sorry sweetie! I can certainly sympathise, having been unemployed since January. Because of finances, Topher and I will probably only be at faire Labor Day Weekend, so I know what you're talking about there, too. I sure hope something breaks for you soon. Know that you and Becky are in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks darlin. I got 67 apps out, so something should break. I think we'll try to make Labor day weekend ourselves, too.
