Dude is there a fast way to gain the gold for a mount, cause short of farming at Stranglethorn Vale, I am just not finding it, other then paying for gold online. Are raiding groups any fun, I have been soloing a lot and was curious. Walking is probably the healthiest thing you can do. I have been trying to do it consistently and my advice, do it right after work, you'll feel much better.

I lucked out, I dont have to pay for a mount for a paladin :P

As for your level for farming? I'd suggest killing in STV where the nagas are in the southern portion of the zone, and fish around for Golden Pearls. They sell for 30-50g a piece on our server, and just finding one or two will make it really easy for you to get where you need to go :)

And I would love to go walking, but that also entitles that it needs to be decently warm, and not raining :P
