Can you feel it?

I can and it's making me feel a little sad.

I haven't really felt the summer, not like me not to connect to a season. Now before it's even over I feel the Autumn approaching, I do like Autumn but it's approach this year is making me feel a little sad.

Yes, I feel the Autumn approaching too, those slightly chilly mornings, an edge in the air. I always get that "back to school feeling". A slight sense of anxiety, coupled with interest and excitement about what the future holds. I got married and my divorce came through in Autumn too. In fact come to think of it, Autumn appears to have heralded many major changes in my life.... Hmmmm.

I wish you lots of luck in your forth coming venture!

I really must complain about the lack of summer more often as it seems to have arrived here this afternoon lol.

I think we all have a feeling of the the summer that never was - for the third time - it is becoming the norm. The summer and sun was the one thing that we had to look forward to in theses gloomy times and to know it has gone (and was never really here) is sad.

That ans people are discussing how many shopping weekends there are to Christmas - which is always depressing!

If you want more summer, I'll be glad to upload what's left of ours. It is still 98 degrees here in the late afternoon. Either that or you can come visit :-D

Send it over, though my monaing seems to have had an effect as this afternoon is gloriously warm and sunny.

Grins would love to come visit but we're booked for Portugal next week!

for me Autumn is the best time of the year... always seems sunnier than August... and I love the 'back to school 'feel.. which may have come with having 4 kids!

I actually hated it when Haze went back to school (when I wasn't working) cos it curtailed what I could do, when she was off we were free to come and go as we pleased!

I feel short changed, I am a leo, I am the Lion. I need the sun. I need to bask. I need to feel the rays hit my body on one side and leave on the other.

I get SAD, doesn't everyone?

Last week I was in Barcelona. That was happy heat.

Next week I'll be in southern Spain, in the amongst the pueblo blancos, that actually might be a bit punishing, I hope so.

Following week in Istanbul.

I'll not want to come home.

I need the sun.

And I thought I went away a lot lol...

Still a week in Alvor will do me just fine, more exploring in advance of our move!
