I find this amusing.

However... I think, perhaps, it would be best if the current heads of Marvel Comics met with an unfortunate series of accidents.

I don't know...the current run of Invincible Iron Man has made me fangirl SQUEE quite a few times. I picked up the first trade and found snappy writing and a fun plot. And I'm really thinking about picking up Deadpool. 'Cause...DEADPOOL.

Even while the concept of Dark Reign kind of makes me want to beat my head against a wall, I really like what I've read so far. That...makes me feel...kind of dirty...

wait... isn't Dark Reign old? We're talking about Spiderman Dark Reign here right? The supposed 'Dark Knight' for Spider-man, like Old Man Logan is the 'Dark Knight' for Wolverine. Marvel need to remember that, though he is awesome, Batman is one of their competitors properties and maybe using him as their idol is a poor call.

Yes- Deadpool is hilarious.

I haven't been able to read Iron Man without disappointment since the armor went inside his bones and he started controlling technology with his mind. He's a drunk in a nuclear powered battle suit, let's keep it that way!

He's been sober for years now!

I hate to break it to you, but Tony Stark's already been fired as Director of SHIELD for his failure to prevent the Skrull Invasion (the last giant crossover/beating heads against walls event in the universe) in Secret Invasion. SHIELD has been dismantled, and Norman Osborne (now the "Iron Patriot") is in charge of the organization replacing it, HAMMER. He's even assembled his very own "Dark Avengers", with members like Venom in the mix. Tony Stark is on the run, his company is in ruins, and his secretary is in an Iron Man suit (I'm holding the verdict on that until we see what happens). Stark also made certain that Osborne couldn't meddle in the superhero registration database before getting booted to the curb; the only copy is currently stored in his brain.
