Of course, candy itself is for everyone. =)

But I agree and disagree with you. I wanna go out and get a few, just for the novelty of it, but not, like, bag(s) full--that's for kids. But, you know, nostalgia and novelty and all that. Maybe I'm just still a kid at heart. =P

But you want to get it by trick or treating? I was never big into Halloween actually even as a kid. The dressing up was fun but inconvenient and expensive. The candy, however, is fucking awesome. I can get candy any day of the week.

I just think it's all fun. It's not really the candy I care about. I love Halloween, and I just like to be a part of it and celebrate. I don't really do the big-party-get-smashed thing.

I prefer Christmas. Not just because of the presents, decorations, snow, and days of school. The whole atmosphere is sweet, peaceful, and just beautiful to me. We can all agree Thanksgiving gets snubbed. Last year I started seeing Christmas decorations right after Halloween.

I don't think I'll ever be a big party person. It's just not really in my personality. Nor will I be a big drinker unless I find one that I like maybe. I do want to know how I am when I'm drunk. Somehow that fascinates me even if I know the hang over will be absolutely killer.

PSH, WHATEVER, MAN. Tell that to the dozens and dozens of college kids who trick-or-treated every year near the Boston Common and had epic times. Myself included. :P I believe I missed ONE Halloween for that, and would totally still do it if 90% of the population didn't think I was too old. Why? Because it's FUN. Going out around the neighborhood with friends FTW. MY INNER CHILD WILL NEVER DIEEEEE.

Though since I can't do that, I'm marching in the NYC parade. No candy apart from what I buy, but still fun :D Though it's gonna be COLD tomorrow :(

Haha whatever you want to do man. I still say it's silly to me. Are you trick or treating along with the little kids? I went trick or treating with a bunch of my friends last year only because they all wanted to. It was fun being with my friends, but I felt like the odd man out because I was the only one who couldn't get into it.

I hate it when Halloween's were too cold. I remember it raining on time. I slipped and fell in wet leaves. That was fun.

There were a few high school students that came by last night and I actually did want to tell them to go away. Especially the two boys who were obviously NOT wearing costumes, but regular clothes. The teenage girls that came by, I wanted to say "don't you have anything better to do with your night?" I mean, go to WalMart and buy a 5 lb bag of candy for $2 and leave the trick or treating to the little kids.

See that's what I'm getting at. High school and college students can go to a store and buy candy. They can even dress up at someone's house. What's the point in trick or treating for it along with little kids?
