When I was in my late teens and entering my pseudo-Taoist phase, I bought a sterling silver necklace with a pendant of the kanji character for water. I was an Aquarius, an air sign often mistaken for a water sign; still, in my search for meaning, I had happily found another symbol to glom onto and related the two. It is hard to remember that Aquarius is an air sign! If you know an aquarian, it makes complete sense. At least with my dad it does.

Yes, if you know one, it makes complete sense. It's funny because Aquarius abhors the sensitive watery depths of Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio. We are practically polar opposites!
