That's not what I logged onto this for. I logged onto this to update about my first day of classes yesterday. They went...well. Mostly. Of course, when I walked into Home Ec, the teacher winced. Is my cooking really that bad?

I'm marginally good at math, I should think. It's alright, you didn't miss a whole lot. Just the syllabus and a review of algebra. If you need help, though, I won't mind.

I'll try not to let Francis get to me, but it's difficult. Especially since I find I really do care what he thinks and does. Don't tell Francis, will you?

And, my friend, I won't lie to you. Your food is not always edible. But, perhaps that is only because I am an incredibly picky eater.

Though, honestly, I don't know if I really CAN improve on my cooking. I've tried. *feels hopeless about cooking*

Did you ever consider that you needn't be an amazing cook? If Francis is of any merit, he wouldn't need you to be able to cook in order to be impressed. He should instead be impressed with your musical talent, I think. I've not encountered a single bass player as talented as you Friend.

Alfred...I play the upright bass most of the time, but I do play the bass guitar. However, if I join a band with you, it better rock. None of that bubble gum pop stuff. One Britney Spears song, and I walk.
