I'd really like to know more about these sailors that aren't as human as they look. This is awesome. XD

The captain waved an impatient hand. Kevra froze as she felt her hair stirred by the movement of an unseen, giant limb passing overhead.

Hahaha, it was just a snippet written on a whim, so there's not much more to the world (though it IS interesting, isn't it).

Under normal circumstances, the human field should completely disguise appearance and form-- unless you're like Seaman Briggs, who thinks leaving his tail out for the laydeez is sexy :P-- so the captain is an exception, in this regard, but basically is too badass for anyone to really care. Since the captain is an insectoid (probably a praying mantis-like thing) the rest are probably the same. Kevra is the only human on board, how nice. :D :D :D

The human guises also fall off once they pull out of port and are out at sea/space/air. I haven't decided which would be the most appropriate, ahaha.
