There is something inherently wonderful about cats being ... well, cats.
Including the days finding ripped up toilet rolls, stolen socks and knocked over plants pots all over the house when you come home in the evening ... :-)
They are, indeed, lovely. And they know it. (With the exception of the Shadowcat perhaps, since he's more inclined to not being seen, given the choice ...)
What you really need to get good cat photos is a well lit studio with neutral coloured backgrounds, a big bag of cat treats and a great deal of patience. And possibly some catnip, although too much of that and all you photograph is comotose cats.
I don't think I did too badly trying to get candid shots in the kitchen ...
