The wallpaper is gorgeous, Pythia! Thank you so much! And thank you for remembering my birthday. Later this morning, I'm off to have the pre op blood tests done and meet the anesthetist for the surgery this Friday. Will be glad when it's all over.
I'm looking forward to seeing you this fall! I've been thinking that we should probably stay in Liverpool Sunday night, and then head to Manchester to stay there Monday night, so I'll be near the airport for my flight on Tuesday. Sound reasonable to you?
My house still hasn't sold! It's nearly six months now and no one can believe the market has slowed so badly. I'll take it off the market while I recover. Since prices are falling so badly right now, I may wait to put it back on the market when things are a bit healthier ie next winter or spring. Ah well, I cashed in some RRSP funds and will cash in more if needed.
Hope things are better for you! You seemed frustrated the other day.
Again, thanks so much for remembering and for the gorgeous wallpaper!
Hope the tests went well (and that Friday goes without a hitch - finger's crossed for you here)
Liverpool on Sunday, Manchester on Monday - I can live with that. :-) It'll make for an interesting October, as I willbe headed for Stokholm later in the month! (Must sort out dates for my leave ...)
The house market seems bad all over, but it's a shame you haven't been able to move yours because of it. Sounds sensible to take a step back though - you never know, the right person may just come along when you least expect it!
Have been decidedly stressed lately - as I will be taking the week off next week, I might actually get round to e-mailing you to tell you why! :-)
Have a good rest of your birthday, and lots of positive energies for Friday. {{{hug}}}
Got to the hospital in the next town at 6 AM to discover the operation was canceled because the surgeon had worked all night on an emergency case. No idea when it will be rescheduled.
Oh, that's awful! All that way, and all the mental preparation, and then - come back later? I guess its understandable if the surgeon was dealing with a real emergency, but they could have found some way to let you know - or at least give some indication abour rescheduling, rather than leave you hanging like this.
And it's not as if it's some cosmetic thing - you need that op, and you'e been waiting long enough for it as is ...
