Argh, both recipes have molasses! Doug can't have that. Let me know how the soy substitute(s) work for you, though.

Darona gets goat milk in a powder form so she can have milk with her tea--this is a *lot* less expensive than the goat yogurt.

I think I read you can have berries--if so, get the frozen organic blueberries at CostCo and then get large containers of the plain goat yogurt. Stick the blueberries in the yogurt and either blend them together or just eat like that. Easy breakfast.

I am really not that fond of dried milk products - it was our "between the paychecks" breakfast meal and I just can't stomach it. Rather have none than go powdered.

I am enjoying the goat milk, yogurt and cheese. If this is as far as I can go, I might see about getting some kind of co-op with Haystack or the little wildlife sanctuary in Wheat ridge and see if I can cut a deal. I hope to work on cow's milk next week. This morning I had a smoothie with berries, bananas and goat yogurt. It was yum!

If you can cut a deal, let us in on it.

The powder helps if you have a recipe that calls for milk as well. Sheep chees and goat cheese is available at costco. We will do a costco run later this week and can pick some up for you...
