I kinda do the projection thing when I'm writing. A character fiddles with their clothes a lot? So do I. Pacing? I'm making indentations in the floor from walking over the same area over and over. Can't say I go out and tattoo myself, though.

Which goes to show just how self-destructive I am. Thanks to quite a few things on that list, I only have a very small group of friends - and I don't think even my best friend knows all of what is on that list. She will when she reads it, though...
