Renge was hugging a roll of film to her chest happily, just having watched the outcome of both her and Akutare's combined efforts into a film that she was sure would be a fantastic blockbuster hit! On the island, anyway. She was happy she could do a little...tweaking into the plot (she promised him that fanservice always means more fans!) and such, but the outcome of that was well worth it. She flopped back onto the bed with the film still held close. It'd debut soon and even if they weren't going to be famous back home yet--they could definitely strive for plenty here.
She paused, thinking over the content of the film itself. There was one scene in particular that she kept rewinding to in her head. She had filled in for the love interest because...well, no one knew more about acting for that role than she did. A good love interest must be a match for the hero--but at the same time, neither a damsel in distress or a tough girl trying to show she's one of the big boys like in

It was the jingling of keys that woke him up that afternoon.
Katara stood above him as Ryoji lazily rubbed his eyes and sat up on the couch he'd been napping on in the Inn's main hall. She looked excited, and he could quickly see why. The keychain was all-too-familiar; it went to the red car they had borrowed before. Many things went through his mind, all eloquently summed up as 'oh god not again' but he put on a charming and rehearsed smile. "Ahaha, good morning Katara-san. Or is it good afternoon

Somewhere on the island, a clock is striking ten in the morning. Not that Ryoji is aware of it just yet--he'd always been a night person and therefore, never a morning person. Ever since he didn't have to wake up early for school, he'd fallen into the habit of 'anything before nine is too early'.
The sunlight is shining through and it's stirring him to get up--he's still in that haze where it's a pain to even consider getting out of bed. He'd just had the nicest dream that happened to feature one or more of the lovely girls he'd met on the island, and right now the sun and the wriggling ball of whatever it was down by his feet needed to leave him alone and--
He bolts out of bed once he realizes whatever it is, it's not supposed to be there. While it's too early to think properly, first his mind goes to the snake and then to something else and then--when his eyes readjust, he sees whatever it was had balled up in it's blanket and was breathing slowly and he wanted it gone. Approaching it steadily, feeling weird that he even has to

Ryoji was one of those types who liked to be the center of things, talked about--even if, when he discovered 'who he was', he had once been a part of Minato, you would never tell looking at the two of them, one openly outgoing and wanting to be the focus and one quiet and kind but still having just as much magnetism as his counterpart. So it was no wonder that when he'd made the biggest step a guy like him could take--asking Ranka, the object of his affections for many years, to trade Lee for Mochizuki, he wanted everyone and anyone to know. Conversations were filled with, hey, did you hear about our engagement? I'd like you to meet my beautiful fiancé. We'd love it if you came to the weddingRanka was overwhelmed by this attention, usually you would think the girl is the one to gloat and preen, but she wasn't displeased by it. She liked it--there was a warm happiness that came with showing the ring to her friends. They were slow with the preparations for the event itself
