1. I utterly fail to see why, every single time I go for a massage/ pedicure/ any sort of grooming, the grooming serviceperson invariably mentions how oily and acne-ridden my skin is. Huh, that's surprising. I never would have guessed that you had an acne problem.

I suspect that this may be more of an instance where the massage people are looking to make money than anything else.

Yeah, I was about to say -- I've never noticed it.

I think people who work in the beauty business just can't leave well enough alone -- they always think you should wax something or trim something or do some other equally useless thing.

Perhaps you should go to places with more tip-based service ;)

Plus beauty stores gotta be making bank nudging others' insecurities along. It's like a tradition.
