today i realised to my horror that i have no manual skills except writing and operating a keyboard.
i suppose i can cook but sewing and repairing things is beyond me. so is making real things. i should learn these. -

still have not seen Star Trek. still saving for US trip. the other day I found out I owe my friend $900 to repair his professional-grade camera lens. he set it on a chair and I knocked it off. he's a medical intern and will be a doctor in a year. this weekend was a long weekend. friday was labour day. and what did i do on labour day? labour, of course. 7.30am to 11.30pm, with a short break (ok quite a long break) in the middle for the most delicious 4-cheese/ parma-ham-mozzarella-rocket thin-crust pizza i've ever had. cheaper than pizza hut, too ( Read more... ) -

beach-vacation weekend
I'm back from Bintan: a weekend of snorkelling, kayaking, floating/ swimming/ general frolicking, inhaling three books, playing manymany games of Set, and spending way too much on food.
